APN Settings for Telcel/Movistar/Any GSM on BlackBerry

I wrote this tutorial for everyone who tries to use an app on our BlackBerry and gets the error: “Network Connection Failure.” For example, I had this problem with Seesmic for BlackBerry, and after this quick tweak every program (that used to work only on WI-FI) now connects to the networks without a hitch.

We need to go to Options

Then choose Advanced Options

and finally TCP/IP

Here we check APN Settings Enabled and type internet.itelcel.com

Hit return & Save and that’s it!

This works on every BlackBerry and I’ve noticed it more on EDGE models than on 3G ones.

It should also work with any carrier worldwide.
