APN Settings for Telcel/Movistar/Any-GSM on BlackBerry

I wrote this quick guide for everyone who tries to open an app on our BlackBerry and gets the “Network Connection Failure” error. For example, my Seesmic for BlackBerry had this problem, and after this tiny tweak every program that used to work only on Wi-Fi now connects without a hitch.

Head to Options

Then pick Advanced Options

and finally TCP/IP

Here tick APN Settings Enabled and type internet.itelcel.com

Hit return, Save, and you’re done!

This works on every BlackBerry; I’ve noticed it more on EDGE models than on 3G ones.

It should also work with any carrier worldwide.
