Megacable swapped my modem because it apparently needed an update. Since several of my devices rely on a “default” SSID and password, I had to change the factory ones (in fact, that’s best practice: never leave default passwords in place).

After Googling and digging through Megacable’s site, I figured out how to do it:

You need to log in to the admin panel at:

http://192.168.0.1/

For Username enter: user

For Password enter: the Wi-Fi password

The Wi-Fi password is printed on stickers both on the box and on the bottom of the modem.
