Error 800c013e
I’ve been having trouble with my PC; apparently it was all because of the file overload on my two HDDs. The fix was simple: delete old TV shows and anything else I no longer needed. (This task is still in progress.) In the middle of that mess, the computer would freeze, restart, and suddenly my personal Windows Live Messenger ID stopped logging in.
I’ve been having trouble with my PC; apparently it was all because of the file overload on my two HDDs.
The fix was simple: delete old TV shows and anything else I no longer needed. (This task is still in progress.)
In the middle of that mess, the computer would freeze, restart, and suddenly my personal Windows Live Messenger ID stopped logging in.
I could log in with any other account—just not the one that mattered… I could still chat from my BlackBerry… until today.
I found this post that honestly helped me a lot, and I’ll boil the instructions down to three lines.
1.- Close Windows Live Messenger.
2.- Go to these two folders: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts and C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live
3.- Delete everything you find there and you’re done!
You’ll be able to sign in again.
It worked for me—hope it works for you too.
