We can see them on Rebelde, kids wearing yellow wristbands…

Where are they from? What are they for?

They’re silicone wristbands created by the Lance Armstrong Foundation with the purpose of fighting cancer.

The bracelet has become so famous that it only costs $1.00 and comes with packaging provided and sold by Nike

Nike itself has launched other wristbands, like the Stand Up Speak Up ones which fight racism in football soccer, using players like Ronaldinhno and Thierry Henry.

They even released a line for basketball players BattleGround, where I’ve read there’s one of player Lebron James, but I haven’t seen any image.

The sale of these wristbands is such a smash hit that many are already making money off them and earning big profits, but hopefully, of course, this money will serve causes like the Tsunami, which has come out in languages like English, Thai, Indonesian, and Sinhala, these cost around $5 USD each including shipping.

Even Adidas released some but veery veery tacky…
