We can see them on Rebelde, kids wearing yellow bracelets…

Where are they from? What are they for?

They are silicone bracelets created by the Lance Armstrong Foundation with the purpose of fighting cancer.

The bracelet has become so famous that it costs only $1.00 and comes with packaging provided and sold by Nike

Nike itself has launched other bracelets, like the Stand Up Speak Up ones which fight racism in football soccer, using players like Ronaldinhno and Thierry Henry.

They even released a line for basketball players BattleGround, where I’ve read there’s one of player Lebron James, but I haven’t seen any picture.

The sale of these bracelets is such a smash hit that many are already making money off them and earning big profits, but clearly hoping this money will serve causes like the Tsunami, which has come out in languages like English, Thai, Indonesian, and Sinhala, these cost about $5 USD each including shipping.

Even Adidas released some but veery veery tacky…
