In January 2026 I was part of the BigCommerce layoff wave. Instead of just jumping to the next seat, I added the AI layer hands-on — and crossed it with Product.

We are all susceptible to falling for messages designed to steal our credentials, emails, bank accounts, cards, or any data that can be used to impersonate our identity.

Megacable swapped my modem because it apparently needed an update. Since several of my devices rely on a “default” SSID and password, I had to change the factory ones (in fact, that’s best practice: never leave default passwords in place).

Today, Apple released version 6.1 of its iOS system. One of the issues I had was that the Wi-Fi kept dropping all the time. Let’s hope they’ve fixed that. I’ll add some screens of the update and the improvements in another post.

What is an APN? APN stands for Access Point Name, and if we want to link our Android device to a 4G/3G or Edge network we need the exclusive settings for each carrier so it can connect and get a data connection on our phone.
