Technicolor CGA 4233 Modem Setup

Megacable swapped my modem because it apparently needed an update. Since several of my devices rely on a “default” SSID and password, I had to change the factory ones (in fact, that’s best practice: never leave default passwords in place).

I’ve been having trouble with my PC; apparently it was all because of the file overload on my two HDDs. The fix was simple: delete old TV shows and anything else I no longer needed. I’ve never played it; I’ve heard good things about the game and that many people were looking forward to the movie. In fact, the trailer made the film look great… but after watching it, it honestly left me pretty disappointed compared to what I expected: the sexy scenes are hot and the girls look great, as do the fights, yet the movie itself has a pretty unbelievable plot and is a bit predictable (you can tell what’s going to happen next).

The Grudge

A horror movie, The Grudge is the story of a little Japanese woman who falls in love with an American teacher; she becomes so obsessed with him that wherever he is, she shows up. Her obsession is so notorious that she lets her secret slip and her husband finds out everything, killing her in a fit of spite, drowning their son and committing suicide. I dunno what the heck?!? but I wanna put Slackware 10 on my machine and I can't grrrr problems with LILO and with X (I mean, at least to get online through Slack and ask about LILO) but not even like that grrrrrrrrr I installed Debian and now LILO shows me aaaall my partitions, at least that way I can boot into Win XP, but X won't start and the internet connection doesn't work cuz it doesn't recognize the modem aaaaaaah heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp

Friday finally came (oooh) so I went with my buddy Javier to tag along to his girlfriend’s welcome party. The club we hit first, Lime Lite, is always dead on Fridays… after hanging there bored for a while we bounced to the awesome Olympus. There the vibe on Fridays is amazing—she was even there… everything got way better and we downed Ana Guevara’s race: she won thanks to solid prep, not luck! We kept dancing and then called it a night.
